This-n-That

We didn't get much done today. Bought groceries. Grilled some burgers. Unfortunately, our fryer broke today. Of course, I guess it's a good thing from a health standpoint. Baked potatoes are a lot better for you than fried! We'll probably purchase a small one to replace it before we head out in the next couple of weeks.

One of our neighbors drop by for a visit earlier today. We had a nice visit and he brought over a bottle of wine. How thoughtful. The folks in this little park are quite friendly. And I think Mark has probably met and knows almost everyone one of them! Mark's kind of like a puppy dog...likes everyone and never meets a stranger!

I touched base with our workamping boss for the summer. Kristin owns Johnsons of St. Mary's, which is the RV Park we're supposed to work in this summer. It's located at the entrance to Glacier National Park and we've met lot's of folks who have been there and just loved it. One of the ladies in this Park told us yesterday that she had been there and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We're really looking forward to checking it out. And Kristin is just a hoot. She has a sister that lives in Tyler, Texas and is always making comments about "Texans". She told me today she was buying lot's of hairspray and bobby pins with stars for her visit here next week. Lol. She's a nut and should be fun to work for. Of course, neither of us have ever workamped, so we'll just have to see how that goes.

We've also got another To-Do marked off the list. Mark was hoping to get his dad's car sold, and sounds like our brother-in-law was able to get it done. That was really good news. Not sure if they'll be able to find a wheel chair accessible van to replace the car, but that's the plan. Maybe they'll be able to get it all worked out before we leave.

We weren't able to take Jason out to eat for his birthday in March, so we're picking him up Saturday for lunch. He's asked to go to Saltgrass, one of his favorite places to eat. I'm glad we'll get to visit with our 'baby' one last time before heading out as well. Guess that's a wrap for now. Let's see what tomorrow brings...
